Do not worry?

What do we worry about? -
- Gods provision v25 ‘what you will eat or drink’
- Image v25 ‘what you will wear’
- Jesus is actually saying that we shouldn’t worry about anything though
Why shouldn’t we worry?
- It doesn’t do us any good physically
- It doesn’t do us any good emotionally
- The previous passage (v24) – worry shows a lack of faith & trust in God
What can we do to help us not worry?
- Read the bible
- Remind ourselves of what God has done in the past
- Give the problem to God
- Phil 4v4-8 – Worship God in the middle of it
Questions:
1. When you are in a difficult situation, what can make it hard for you to
hand your problems over to God?
2. What problems can be caused if you don’t hand your worries over to God?
3. What can we do to help us not worry, and how can we make sure that we
actually do it, rather than just feel that we should be doing it.
4. Can any of you give an example of a time when you were in a difficult
situation, but handed it over to God, and saw him bring you through it.
